Take your task manager
Now end the explorer.exe process
now there will be nothing on desktop
now delete autorun.inf file from pendrive by taking File->New Task..Browse and delete autorun.inf
Now take File->New Task.Type explorer.exe
Now everything back in action.

i need to change my product key.I can't see any option in My computer properties.what should i do?

Run Command prompt as administrator 

Then type slmgr.vbs -ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX 
(XXXXX is the product key) 

Then type slmgr.vbs -ato 

Now your product key will be successfully changed.

Hw to remove autorun.inf from my pendrive??

Start->Run 

type cmd & enter 

now open the drive by typing the drive letter 
{Eg. if pendrive is H drive..Then type H:} 

Now type attrib -s -h -r autorun.inf 

then type del autorun.inf 

Now the file has been removed.

Can we change the passwrd in windows xp without knowing thw old one.......

Start->Run->type msconfig 

Now the System Configuration Utility appears. 

Now select the Services tab. 

In the list uncheck the box corresponding to Shell Hardware Detection. 
Click on ok. 

Now the autorun has been disabled. 

Inorder to enable autorun just check the box corresponding to Shell Hardware Detection.
